What is the “Liquid Facelift”?
The liquid facelift is a fashionable term and behind it lies the attractive idea of a facelift without a scalpel. The liquid facelift is a special type of filler injection in which the lost volume in the facial area is plumped up over a large area by injections.
Hyaluronic acid, but also so-called collagen biostimulants (calcium hydroxylapatite or poly-L-lactic acid) can be used These are biodegradable substances and the results last for 9 – 18 months. The treatments are carried out with a fine needle or a cannula. We can perform the injection with ultrasound guidance for precise treatment accuracy.
What is thread lifting?
Thread lifting tightens the skin without a scalpel. The sagging areas of skin are tightened using fine, usually absorbable threads with barbs. The threads act as a kind of support structure. The threads also regulate the skin’s own collagen production through their degradation process and act as a “biostimulator”.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and takes approx. 30 – 45 minutes. The treatment is ideal for younger patients between the ages of 30 and 50 who are not yet suitable for a surgical facelift or do not wish to undergo one. The thread lift usually lasts between 18 months and 2 years.
What is Microneedling Radiofrequency Treatment?
Microneedling with radio frequency is the new power combination for better skin. The treatment is suitable for wrinkles on the face, neck, décolleté or stretch marks caused by pregnancy, refinement of acne scars or the treatment of excessive sweating. Thanks to the mechanical and thermal stimulation, the skin is tightened in a very gentle way, with a recovery time of 1 to 2 days.
The treatment is painless, takes 30 to 60 minutes and should be repeated 2 to 4 times at intervals of at least 4 weeks. To maintain success, the treatment should be refreshed every 6 to 12 months.
