Aesthetic breast surgery

Breast augmentation uses implants to change the size and shape of the breast. Breast lift (mastopexy) optimizes the position and shape of the breast. Breast reduction reduces the weight of the breast and alleviates complaints such as back or neck pain.

Correction of retracted nipples
This procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. Various techniques are used, such as the suture technique or incision technique, depending on the extent of the problem.
Corrections of the nipples
Correction of the nipple can be performed using local tissue under local anesthesia. In some cases, a cartilage transplant or autologous fat treatment may be required to achieve a long-lasting effect
Correction of severe breast asymmetry
An asymmetrical or uneven breast shape is common. A simple breast augmentation is rarely sufficient to achieve symmetry. Additional measures such as a breast lift or breast augmentation with different implants are often necessary.
Correction of tubular breast deformity
This congenital form is common and requires various techniques. The most common procedures include fat grafting, implants and unfolding of the mammary gland.
Funnel chest correction
Customised implants are often used here, and these can also be combined with fat grafting.
Poland syndrome correction
This is a rare congenital malformation of varying degrees. A pectoral muscle is often missing. For correction, the method of autologous fat treatment or by means of adapted breast implants can be used, or also combined autologous fat with breast implants.

Reconstructive breast surgery to restore the breast

Reconstructive breast surgery restores the breast after breast cancer treatment. This can be done using the patient’s own tissue (autologous fat treatment, microsurgical techniques) or implants. The appropriate technique is discussed individually with the patient.

Reconstructive breast surgery
Reconstructive breast surgery can be performed with the patient's own tissue (autologous fat treatment, microsurgical techniques) or with implants. The techniques include: Expander implant for mastectomy Breast reconstruction with tissue from the abdomen (DIEP flap) Breast reconstruction with tissue from the thigh (TMG flap) Breast reconstruction with tissue from the buttocks (S-GAP flap) Breast reconstruction with back muscle (latissimus dorsi flap) Breast reconstruction with autologous fat transfer (lipofilling) Each technique must be discussed individually with the patient.
Nipple reconstruction
Nipple reconstruction is the last part of reconstructive breast surgery. It involves reconstructing the areola and nipple with local tissue, skin graft or tattoo.
Breast reconstruction in breast-conserving therapy (oncoplasty)
This modern method involves the safe removal of the breast tumour while preserving the shape of the breast. The procedure is performed together with the gynaecology department.

Male breast reduction

Gynecomastia, the enlargement of the male breast, is very common and can occur unilaterally or bilaterally. There are two types: true gynecomastia (enlargement of the mammary gland) and false gynecomastia (lipomastia, enlargement of fatty tissue). Patients often suffer from reduced self-confidence and possible pain due to excess glandular tissue.
